                Birth to One Year

The very phase “nursery” conjures up images of a carefully tended garden, of a gentle place and growing. At The Learning Garden it describes a place that where children are nurtured.

Our nursery is a place of “care”, of physical needs, intellectual stimulation, and the social -emotional aspects of young children’s lives. It has been specially designed to create a warm and secure environment for your infant. From the peaceful sleeping area to rocking chairs and the discovery area, babies here at The Learning Garden have a very special place.

Teachers sing songs, read stories, and use sign language to encourage language acquisition; they pass balls and play games to develop motor skills; but most of all they spend lots of time cuddling and talking to babies to  instill trust and provide comfort.

Parents work with their baby’s teacher to set their child’s schedule to ensure consistency. This also means that parents know the best time to visit during the day. Weather they want to feed their baby or play with their infant on the specially designed playground, parents are always encouraged to stop by.
